    Ballzy, Restoration Shaman. X-Realm.

    Character name: Ballzy

    Character class: Shaman

    Character spec: Resto

Which glyphs are you using, and why:

Earth Shield glyph gives a decent passive healing, Lesser Healing Wave glyph is good because it does extra healing on a tank for a mana conservative spell and Chain Heal glyph gives a extra bounce which is always come since it's the most used spell by me.

    Character tradeskill professions and levels:

    Jewelcrafting 455/455
    Engineering 450/450

Why do you feel those professions best suit your character and/or playstyle:

I try to stack alot of haste and with Jewelcrafting I can pick to boost haste with the Dragon's eyes.

Engineering is imo the most fun profession that one can pick it gives all kinds of extra but it's also effective for my class with the extra haste on gloves and the speedboost on boots which can improve survivability.

What is your secondary spec and why did you choose it:

Elemental is my second spec. It's handy when you need to kill something for a daily quest or respec for a 10 man/pug because of too many healers and you can use your resto gear without losing too much in comparison to picking Enhancement. Although I got pretty decent elemental gear.

Have you ever rerolled and if so why did you reroll:

I've been playing Shaman since the beginning of WoW 4-5 years ago and never switched to another class as my main.

Provide a link to a recent WWS log: Optional, but we urge you to supply one.

I don't have any but here is a screenshot of a 25 man ICC raid I did up to Festergut, you can see recount and me on top. I have yet to see a healer in my 4-5 years experience beat me on the meters ON AVERAGE. It does ofcourse vary depending on the encounter and the current state of the class after a patch for example. I know some of you guys will say "LOL HEALING METERS DONT MATTER" but it does for me. Also don't get me wrong I fullfill my task whatever it is for the encounter. : http://img710.imageshack.us/img710/6...0810211720.jpg

Do you have any offspec experience and do you have gear for it:

Yeah I have decent offspec experience and Ilvl 245 Elemental gear. Lacking a bit in the trinkets area though.

Previous guild(s): Used to Could , Slashcry.

Reason(s) for leaving previous guild(s): Used to Could disbanded like 4 months ago and I haven't really played since because of my duties to the army. Don't know why I joined Slashcry because I had duties to the army and couldn't even raid once with them, but they seem like nice guys. I don't have any duties to the army now and I have been off the game since ToC for a few months but I'm fully back now.

What was your attendance in your previous guild: Used to Could probably around 98%. I barely miss a raid when raiding 5 days in a week unless there is an emergency.

Reasons why you would like to join: You are a good guild and I spoke to some of your members inside of WoW to inform myself about your situation and they were friendly and helpfull. I also want to compete with the other top guilds when hardmodes come out to put down a good result and world ranking.

What sets you aside from other applicants:

These other applicants are nice guys but they don't know how to maximize performance on their Shamans. They don't go that extra inch that makes the difference. Most of these guys (especially on alliance side) are like lookie me I'm a Shaman I put down my totems and spam Chain Heal. You don't want this kind of guys. Whereas I make the difference with the following points:

    * Computer Hardware. I have a high end computer that runs WoW on about 40 FPS during a 25 man raid encounter and a 21 Mbit Adsl2+ connection so I can play without lag and disconnects.

    * I recently purchased a Razer Naga mouse. This mouse has 17 buttons and it allows me to react quicker because most of my spells are at the tip of my fingers.

    * I spend alot of time on my UI trying to improve any bits whilst still having a clear view of the ingame environment instead of it being full with useless info that unnecesarily distracts.

    * I have been playing Shaman for about 4 years which is alot of experience. I am well informed about my class and therefor don't have the need to copy or follow another Shamans spec/gearing/gemming etc. or playstyle, because with my playstyle I have performed well so far.

    * I get along with people in a guild. Mainly because usually I'm the quiet one. I don't impress people with my attitude or mouth. I impress with my performance

What sort of connection are you on and how stable is it: 21 Mbit ADSL. It's very stable hasn't failed me so far.

Ventrilo: Please confirm you are able to use Ventrilo and have a microphone for speaking.

I use Ventrilo and I have a microphone which I only use when it's needed for a encounter. I don't like public speaking much.

Highest boss killed: Deathbringer Saurfang. I don't have a guild

Your primary play times, will you make all our raids:

From Sunday till Friday I can raid no problems 17:00 -01:00

Do you have any upcoming events (like a holiday) that would interrupt your trial period: Nope.

Were all of the above characters levelled by you from the start: Yeah I leveled a Shaman twice in fact.

    Optional Real life info:

I'm 26 years old living in The Netherlands.
I'm a freelance webdesigner working from home. I get around making a decent living for myself with no boss to answer to and decide my own schedules. I'm single and goodlooking although I gained some weight sitting on my ass all day lately.

I hope you guys give me a chance to proove myself and thanks for reading my application.

Hi, thanks for your application. We've decided we're closing recruitment for resto shamans. Sorry for wasting you time. Good luck finding a raiding group elsewhere!
