Website
After learning PHP I realised that the websites I was creating with it were functional but not terribly nice to look at or use. It was then a case of back to the drawing board to teach myself what that DOCTYPE at the head of a page meant and how style sheets actually worked. Hence this website was built in compliance with web standards using XHTML and CSS. If I've done my job correctly it should be browser neutral and friendly to print as well as view.
On my search for a better way to write websites there are several places that have helped greatly. A List Apart was where I first learnt about the principle of coding with web standards, waferbaby provided the inspiration for the structure of this site, W3 Schools gave me a readable reference for my coding queries and picKLE provided the basis for the gallery.
